A glass from us to you

Our names are W (a guy) and S (a gal) and really enjoy a good bottle of wine - we drink a fair number of them! We thought it might be useful for others to read what we think about the wines we drink, the shops we buy from and, sometimes, the restaurants where we eat and enjoy a bottle. And we really hope that collecting our thoughts, and receiving readers' feedback, comments and ideas, will help us develop a better understanding of the wonders of a good glass.

Finca Sobreno

We had a wonderful Toro the other evening - Finca Sobreno Sekeccion Especial 2000. it was warm, lush and elegant. This was the second of two that we bought just before Christmas. We bought it at Total Wine in Farifax VA. A great wine for about $28. Not an everyday wine, but great value for the money.
